How to start...?

The first thing we all need to remember when trying to lose weight is we must be truly motivated to do it. There must be an outside factor in many cases to make us lose the weight.
For me, it was to get as healthy as possible so I could live a full life. The rate I was going, I might have seen an early grave.
Once the motivational factor is established, then you need to set out a plan. For most people, they want to shed those pounds as quickly as possible. However, if you formulate a good solid base for losing the weight, you are more likely to keep it off for life. Start simple. Make one or two changes at a time so you can keep those as your permanent changes.
For me, I decided to add 10 minutes of riding a stationary bike. Plus, I decided to quit drinking anything except water all day. At first, it was hard to keep up with these both. However, as I reminded myself of the positive outcome, it was much easier.
